Jan Drahokoupil is senior research fellow at the Mannheim Centre for European Social Research (MZES), University of Mannheim. His publications include Transition economies: Political economy in Russia, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia (co-authored with Martin Myant, Wiley-Blackwell, 2010), Globalization and the State in Central and Eastern Europe: The Politics of Foreign Direct Investment (Routledge, 2008) and Contradictions and Limits of Neoliberal European Governance: From Lisbon to Lisbon (co-edited with Bastiaan van Apeldoorn and Laura Horn, Palgrave, 2008), and a number of journal articles on political economy in Eastern Europe, Russia, and Central Asia.
